How to Run the Temperature Chamber

As an important equipment widely used in scientific research, product quality testing and other fields, temperature chamber can simulate various temperature environments and provide key support for material performance testing and product reliability assessment. Its temperature range can generally be from -70 ° C to 150 ° C , the temperature fluctuation can be controlled within ±0.5 ° C, the humidity range is 20%-98% RH (if it has humidity function).

I. What is temperature chamber

1.How temperature chamber works?

The temperature chamber realizes the precise control of the temperature in the chamber through the cooperative work of the heating and cooling system. The heating system usually uses resistance wire heating and other ways to convert electrical energy into heat energy, so that the air temperature in the chamber rises. The refrigeration system uses the compressor refrigeration cycle to absorb heat through the phase change of refrigerants (such as R404A, R23 and other environmentally friendly refrigerants) to reduce the temperature in the chamber, and the cooling capacity varies according to the size of the equipment.

The temperature sensor monitors the temperature in the chamber in real time, and feeds the signal back to the control system. The control system adjusts the operating power of the heating or cooling system according to the difference between the set temperature and the actual temperature, so that the temperature in the chamber is stable at the set value, and the temperature control accuracy can reach ±0.1℃.

2. Structural composition analysis

LIB temperature chamber is mainly composed of chamber, heating system, cooling system, temperature sensor, control system and circulating fan. LIB high and low temperature chamber has good thermal insulation performance, polyurethane foam material, 100mm thickness, reduce heat loss and external environment interference. The heating system and cooling system are distributed in different locations of the chamber to achieve uniform temperature distribution. The circulating fan promotes the air circulation in the chamber to ensure the temperature uniformity.

II. Preparation before operation

1. Select a site for temperature chamber installation

Install the chamber in an open, dry, and well-ventilated indoor environment. Avoid direct sunlight and close to heat or cold sources. Keep the indoor temperature between 15 ° C and 35 ° C, and the relative humidity within 85%. At the same time, ensure that there is enough space around the chamber to facilitate the operation, maintenance and heat dissipation, and reserve at least 1m-2m space around the chamber.

2. Test sample preparation

The test sample should be pre-treated in advance, such as cleaning and drying, so as to avoid the influence of impurities on the test results. Determine the number of test samples, and according to the characteristics of the sample and test requirements to choose the appropriate placement, such as layered placement, spacing, etc., to ensure that the temperature field in the chamber can evenly act on the sample.

3. Check equipment status

Before running, carefully check whether the appearance of the chamber is damaged or deformed. Check whether the power supply is firmly connected and whether the power cable is damaged. Open the door of the chamber and check whether foreign bodies remain in the chamber and whether the components are properly installed. At the same time, check the initial state of the heating system, cooling system, circulation fan, etc., to ensure that each system can start and run normally.

III. Detailed explanation of operation steps

1.Boot program

Turn on the main power switch of the device, the control system switch, etc. Wait for the self-check of the device. Check whether the indicators on the control panel and the display screen normally display the initial parameters of the device, such as the current temperature, humidity, and device running mode.

2.Temperature parameter setting

According to the test requirements, parameters such as target temperature, temperature change rate and temperature holding time are set on the operating interface of the control system. For example, if the high temperature aging test is carried out, it may be necessary to set the target temperature of 80 ° C, the heating rate of 2 ° C /min, and maintain the target temperature for 48 hours after reaching the target temperature. If the low-temperature storage test is carried out, the target temperature may be set to -40℃, the cooling rate is 1℃/min, and the holding time is 72 hours. When setting parameters, verify them to ensure their accuracy.

3.Starting test

After parameter setting is completed and confirmed, click the "Start" button on the control system interface to officially start the temperature test. At this time, closely observe the operating status of the equipment, check whether the heating or cooling system works in accordance with the set requirements, whether the circulating fan is operating normally.

IV. Work after the test

1.Sample extraction and recording

After the test, when the temperature in the chamber is restored to room temperature or the temperature is safely taken out, the general temperature difference is within ±5℃, carefully open the equipment door and take out the test sample. During removal, avoid collision or damage to the sample. At the same time, all the data during the test were recorded in detail, including the set temperature, the actual temperature change curve, the test time and other information, to provide a basis for the subsequent test analysis.

2.Device shutdown and sorting

First turn off the control system switch of the temperature chamber, then turn off the main power switch and unplug the power plug. Clean the inner wall of the chamber, sample rack and bottom of the debris and dust, keep the chamber clean and dry. Tidy up the test site, put the test tools back in place, and prepare for the next test.

The correct operation of the hot cold chamber requires the operator to be familiar with the principle, structure and operation process of the equipment, do all the preparatory work before operation, closely monitor and timely maintenance during operation, properly deal with common problems, and complete the follow-up work in a standardized manner after the test. Only in this way can we ensure the efficient and stable operation of the temperature chamber, provide reliable test data support for scientific research and production, and extend the service life of the equipment and reduce the operating cost of the equipment.
