Xenon Light Fastness Test Chamber

LIB xenon light fastness test chamber simulates solar illumination, temperature, humidity and rain on materials and products to evaluate their light resistance and aging properties of materials. The use of xenon arc lamps with 300nm ~ 400 nm(340nm or 420nm) bandwidth as light sources produces a full spectrum of light that is similar to natural sunlight, including ultraviolet, visible light and infrared light. Two types of sample holder: rotating type and flat shelf type are available.

Xenon Light Fastness Test Chamber Features and Benefits

1. Xenon lamps emit a continuous spectrum from ultraviolet to visible light to infrared, and the spectral distribution of natural sunlight is highly similar. High-power water-cooled, air-cooled xenon arc lamps run smoothly for more than 1600 hours.


2. Precise control of the temperature ranging from ambient to 100℃in the xenon light fastness test chamber and humidity is adjustable from 50%RH to 98%RH. Water spray system can simulate rain weather to check water resistance and color stability.


3. A wide selection of filters such as Daylight Q, Daylight B/B, Window Q, Window B/B filters. These filters only allow specific wavelengths of light to shine on the sample in order to more accurately study the effects of different wavelengths of light on the material.

 

4.  Diverse sample holder design, flat shelf type, rotating drum type, which can be selected according to the shape, size and test requirements of the sample.

①Workroom

  • Both the workroom interior and multi-layer perforated shelf sample holder are SUS304,

  • The Xenon lamp is located at the top of the workroom.4500W/6500W optional. 

  • Option 1: Water cooled xenon lamp

    By circulating water around the lamp to take away the heat generated, the temperature distribution of the lamp is more uniform, so that the output of light is more uniform and stable.

  • Option 2: Air-cooled xenon lamp

    The use of air flow,  through a fan to blow cold air over the lamp surface.

Spray system
