Filiform Corrosion Tester

Filamentous corrosion is a hair-like corrosion that occurs under paint, varnish, or other coatings. Filiform corrosion tester can simulate the salt spray environment and is suitable for testing the corrosion of product coating after it is destroyed. Tests can be conducted continuously or periodically.

Temperature can be adjusted from ambient to +60℃, and the deposition of salt spray is 1~2ml/80cm²/h.

Filiform Corrosion Tester Features and Benefits

1.Key environmental parameters such as temperature salt spray concentration are precisely controlled, which simulates the corrosion environment that metal materials may encounter under different climatic conditions and use scenarios.

 

2. With a cyclic test mode, you can cycle switch stages such as salt spray - drying - wetting - standing, which can better simulate the dry and wet alternations and temperature changes experienced by metal materials, so as to more accurately evaluate the material's resistance to filament-like corrosion.

 

3. Accelerate filamentous corrosion in a short time to quickly assess the corrosion resistance of materials. The wire corrosion tester can greatly shorten the test cycle and improve the test efficiency.

 

4. Simultaneous testing of multiple samples allows for rapid screening and evaluation during mass production and development. Multiple samples tested under the same test conditions can also improve the repeatability and comparability of test results.

  • Standard sample holder features a round rod and V-shaped groove design. Test pieces' angles can be adjusted.
