Water Immersion Test Chamber Application
Water immersion test chamber is complying with IEC 60529 Ipx7 and Ipx8 grade simulating water depths of 1-50m with pressure up to 50bar.
Water immersion tank can be used in electronics, automotive and aerospace. In the automotive industry, such as automotive sensors, control modules and other components will also use this chamber because these components may face water contact conditions such as rain and car washing.
Water Immersion Test Chamber Working Principle
The water immersion test chamber simulates the water immersion conditions that the product may encounter in actual use.
Firstly, place the specimen on the internal bracket, cover the lid, lock the screw, set the test pressure and time after starting the equipment and injecting water so that the product is soaked in water for some time, if there is a leak point of the unqualified specimen the air will be pressed into the its cavity to appear bubbles.
After the immersion test, the test piece is taken out for a thorough inspection and evaluation to determine whether it meets the requirements of the waterproof rating requirement.
